Fleet management software costs in the UAE: a buyer’s budget guide
Compare software, trackers, integration, onboarding and support costs before requesting a UAE fleet management software quote.
Compare the total operating cost, not just a monthly licence
A fleet software quote can cover very different scopes. One supplier may provide software only; another may include tracking devices, connectivity and installation. Start by listing your vehicles, users, branches, existing trackers and required workflows. Ask each supplier to quote the same scope so a lower headline price does not hide a missing dependency.
Separate recurring charges from setup costs
Recurring costs may include per-vehicle or per-user subscriptions, device connectivity, support and third-party services. One-time costs may include tracker installation, data migration, integration development, training and configuration. Ask whether minimum fleet sizes, annual commitments, inactive vehicles and extra users change the bill. Request a clear explanation of applicable taxes, currency and renewal terms.
Check the cost of connecting your existing GPS trackers
Give the supplier your tracker model and provider details before accepting a compatibility claim. Ask which data fields can be received, who pays for API access, and whether the connection requires new hardware or a paid provider plan. Confirm who maintains the integration and how outages are handled. A dashboard preview does not establish that your particular devices are supported.
Calculate a first-year budget
Use this planning formula: first-year cost = setup and migration + hardware and installation + 12 months of recurring charges + separately billed services. For illustration only, a hypothetical AED 2,000 monthly subscription with AED 5,000 setup totals AED 29,000 in the first year before any hardware, connectivity, tax or other charges. These invented budgeting inputs are not Wendiq pricing or a market benchmark. Replace them with a written supplier quote.
Budget for adoption and data quality
Include the time needed to clean vehicle records, import service history, assign permissions and train the people using the system. Decide who owns incomplete records and who checks that imported totals match the source. A phased rollout can help you test one team’s workflow before expanding, but its scope, duration and costs should be agreed with the supplier.
Evaluate savings using your own baseline
Record current service downtime, administrative effort and relevant operating costs before implementation. Separate potential additional revenue from cost savings: extra rental revenue is not all profit. Include implementation costs and ongoing fees when estimating a return. Wendiq’s homepage calculator lets you explore assumptions; its outputs are estimates, not guaranteed results or customer evidence.
What to request in a Wendiq quote
Wendiq does not publish a fixed FleetOS tariff on this website. Request a scoped proposal covering your vehicle count, tracking sources, users, workflows, onboarding, support and contract terms. Ask which capabilities are available for your implementation and which are proposed. AI Autopilot capabilities are under development and should not be budgeted as deployed functionality.
